• From Cairo, Egypt, the Katsina State delegation led by the Rt. Hon. Speaker, Katsina State House of Assembly, and Dr. Hafiz Ibrahim Ahmed Kankia (Special Adviser on Power and Energy), attended a high-level meeting with KEDCO top management, Future Energy, and powerful delegations from Kano and Jigawa States.

The Katsina team also included the Hon. Member representing Batsari at the Katsina State House of Assembly, Engr. Matazu (General Manager, Rural Electrification Board), Hon. Khalil Nura Khalil (Economic Adviser), Hon. Usman Isiyaku (Special Adviser on Policy Implementation and Strategy), and Engr. Abdulaziz Kabir Abdullahi Kafur (Technical Assistant on Renewable Energy).
The Kano and Jigawa delegations were equally, led by the Speakers of the two State Houses of Assembly together with the Hon. Commissioners for Energy.
The meeting focused on strengthening regional collaboration with KEDCO to improve power supply and accelerate sustainable energy development across the three states.
